I haven't had one problem here, and the office manager is really nice. the apartments are really nice

I love the location of this apartment complex, but after trying for over a week to get a hold of somebody in the office, leaving multiple messages on both the number listed on apartments.com and the number listed on google, I finally got a call back for the property manager to tell me that if I would have filled out the application, I would have seen that they didn't have any availability for two more months. When I told her that I had looked at both the complex's own website and apartments.com... and both locations showed that there was current availability, she said well on my side it shows (date two months from now). Lived here four years. Arbitrary rent increase every year. $13 extra to pay rent online. No amenities to speak of. High staff turnover. Laundry facilities frequently out of order. Dog poop everywhere. Mice. Ridgewood ripped up my front step and taped it off for two days for no apparent reason. Incompetent, lying staff told me that my forms were in order and I was clear to move out and turn in my key early. They not only charged penalty fees anyway, they turned me over to a collection agency... without any notification.
