Idek where to start with this property. They have changed property management numerous times during my contract and during the several months of month to month leasing. No one in office remembers anything you speak to them about on phone or in person and you should not expect them to actually put anything into your "file". The office never updates your information after multiple times of informing them of changes via phone calls or in-person. They locked us into a unremodeled unit when the first... original manager promised to get us into a new remodeled unit as a "deal" for a first few weeks during their renovation. The staffing alone is a rotating crew and no one ever stays more than a few weeks. As another review states, this property refuses to allow you to leave your lease when it is up. They wouldn't accept proof (based on their requirements) of new ownership, though the individual already lived there, to take over my unit. Long story short is things got extra messy as time continued and tries everything they can to pin you with additional issues even if you are an great resident. Neighbors are extremely noisy on all sides of your unit and a constant smell of weed is going to leak into your private space. The airflow in the units is also poor even with the AC running all day, all year around. Don't walk, RUN from this place!

Nightmare leasing experience
I lived here for one year, and they would not let me renew my lease or let me move out, so I was stuck on month to month payments against my will, which are extremely expensive.
During the first month of my lease, I realized that my apartment did not have a washer or dryer like promised, and when I talked to management about it, they said they would look into it and never got back to me. Despite advertising a gated parking lot, it’s common for management to forget to close the gate before... leaving for the day. My apartment also had mold, roaches, leaks, and management did not help at all. Every time I talked to them, they would either have no idea what I was talking about because they have an endless cycle of new hires, which they treat poorly, or their management would refuse to help or take fault.

As for the maintenance and pest control issues you described, work orders submitted through the proper channels are typically addressed promptly, and pest treatments are performed by a contracted service. While Dylan is proud to offer pest control services, pest control is a community effort and needs everyone's compliance to be successful. Unresponsive Management
We've been displaced for 4 days due to an apartment fire and management is completely unresponsive. They have provided no information and will not give any information on the phone. They're requiring a signed release, which they won't even share ahead of time, which is REALLY SKETCHY.

Must-Live for KUMC Workers/Students
Alongside affordability and location, anyone associated with the medical center would benefit from living at the Dylan Apartments. Compared to surrounding apartments in the area, this is the clear winner. Love the sense of secruity the apartment complex provides.
