I love everything about Capstone Quarters from the convenient location minutes from the engineering campus and the main quad to my spacious apartment with ample closet space and private ensuite bathroom. The fitness center is literally next door in the clubhouse and, unlike the university's Activities & Recreation Center, open 24 hours a day. There is a beautiful swimming pool onsite and an actual theater you can reserve for movie screenings with friends. So many people assume that the more... expensive your apartment is the better it must be but even though Capstone is very cheap it has been perfect for my needs and I wouldn't really change a thing.

BEDBUG RIDDEN HELLSCAPE
BEDBUG RIDDEN. My roommates and I suffered numerous bites, blood spotting and stains from having to live with bedbugs while treatment was being conducted after we found them during move in. Very dirty. Poor spotty internet. Extremely high utility overages due to horrible apartment insulation. Management will withhold security deposit. Friends apartment in other building was much nicer than mine even though we paid the same rent. I paid rent on time each and every month and had to fight... management constantly for a clean apartment with all utilities/amenities promised upon lease signing. Stay at your own risk…

The management office is pretty useless.
The apartment itself is fine except that it is kinda pricy for its location (really far from campus). However, the management office can basically do nothing for you but charging you fees. I live on the first floor and mold came out of nowhere in a bathroom that I had never used. (I live in a 2b2b and use the other one because that's where all the shampoos and stuffs are). It was so obvious because there was not a single towel/bottle/whatever in the bathroom. The manager insisted it was my... fault due to my misuse of the bathroom(srsly?)and took away the showerhead, which I don't really care because I don't use it anyway. But I still have to pay for the ridiculous "mold damage".

Thank you for the review however we tried to work with you multiple times regarding the water damage in one of the bathrooms. After several inspections it was obvious that you were using the shower without a shower curtain. Since you would not... install a curtain and stated that you did not use that shower, we removed the shower head to prevent any further damage. We did inform you that if you installed a shower curtain and needed to use this shower we would be happy to reinstall the shower head. Once the shower head was removed there was no further damage. The tenants are charged for damages they cause, all fees are outlined in the lease and our damage fee schedule so there are no surprises. You will find that this is the same as every other rental company. The price per bedroom is very competitive and we offer many wonderful amenities at Capstone Quarters, we have a great product to offer our residents. Thank you, Capstone Management
