You Get What You Pay For

I lived here for 3 years. By far the biggest pro is the cost of rent, though that keeps increasing like everywhere else.

Other pros:
The neighborhood is safe and you’re close to just about everything with Schaumburg right down the street. Maintnenance is pretty good and in the winter, they were great about clearing snow from the parking lots and walkways. There is plenty of parking. The only utility you pay separately is electric. Good amount of storage space (closets, cabinets, bathroom...
shelves).

Cons:
The apartments are tiny, the walls are paper thin, everything is dated and has been repainted 100 times. No dishwashers, minimal counter space for cooking, and good luck fitting a normal sized dining table. The laundry room is across the parking lot and washers/dryers are constantly out of order. There are no other amenities. I had issues with ants that kept coming back. There is only 1 wall a/c unit in one room, and it does nothing to cool the other rooms even if it runs all day on high.

Overall I would recommend living here temporarily, especially if you’re new to the area or looking to save money for a house or a nicer place. Get yourself a friend with a washer and dryer nearby lol.

High recommendation

Front office was welcoming and accommodating , maintenance was always on the job and any issues rectified immediately(really had none). Grounds kept in tip top shape. Neighborhood is peaceful and quiet and safe . Great for someone transitioning into the area as its convenient to many area locations.

Very bad experience!!!

Very bad experience!!! My brother and I rented from here for 1 year. We could not wait for our lease to be up. Michell the manager, and Matt and Tim the maintenance guys accused of of many things, with no evidence, that we did not do. They were disrespectful and rude to us in a cocky way. Look elsewhere for a place where you are treated well and appreciated.

Welcoming

I loved my time at Plumb Grove in my cozy little studio. Everyone was always so friendly and helpful. Whenever I went the the office I was greeted by name as even asked how my cats were doing. Honestly the only real issue I had with my apartment was the base board heat could cause big electric bills in winter if you weren't careful about it. Also the parking is first come first serve so don't go grocery shopping late at nigh or you may have to lug your stuff a long way but overall it's not a big... inconvenience.

Clean,Quiet,Pet Friendly

I am a current resident, I moved in here in April of this year. We absolutely love this place! The staff is so nice and courteous, and anytime we need help with anything they are always there. Any maintenance calls are answered within 24 hours, and anytime I have a question about something with my Apartment, the email is always answered within 24 hours. We have lived in different apartments, place this is the best one yet!
Great Location!!!
