Very pleased with my recent decision to make Frostwood Apartments home.

Pros:
newer building with nice finishes in kitchen and bathrooms. Real tile floors and kitchen backsplash. Most other apartment’s have super low quality contractor grade finishes that make you feel like your not getting your moneys worth.
Very nice Hunter ceiling fans throughout apartment and in bedroom.
Garage included in rent! No monthly pet fee! Ability to choose your own tv and internet provider.
Upper floors have... locked entrances shared with only one other resident. Entire parking lot and entrance is monitored with cameras.
Neighbors have been friendly and introduced themselves. Fire Department less than a block away and neighbor is Peoria Police Officer; Feels very safe and tight knit.
Close proximity to mall, grocery, and work.
My leasing agent, Teresa; fantastic to deal with and always assuring should I need anything.
Landlord provided new ADA elongated toilets upon my request because the original were small squatty round ones. Fantastic.

Cons:
Very little storage or counter space in bathrooms.
Will have to put up shelving in laundry room, but landlord was very agreeable to help me with this. Read More

This apartment is new and located on a somewhat busy street. It is loaded with many nice amenities, including a washer and dryer within the apartment, a garbage disposal, microwave, etc. The closets are spacious especially the walk in closet in the master bath. However, the apartment is rather noisy. The appliances are very loud when they are running. In addition since I live on the ground floor I can hear every footstep of my upstairs neighbors and the flossing of their toilets and bath. ... It also has a garage with automatic door opener, unfortunately so few residents take advantage of this fact so that the parking lot which should be reserved for guests is often full making it difficult for guests to park.
