Great area, great deal. Been here almost a year and I have no intention of moving anytime soon.

This is the perfect apartment for the frugal renter. Sure, the average American might consider this is a shoebox, but I prefer to call it quaint. You're in the heart of Lincoln Park, a block or two from groceries, dry-cleaning, bars, restaurants and the lake. Due to it's simplicity, it's a place that makes you want to explore the city. And at the price, you can live among kings while saving for the future.

The saying goes "you get what you pay for" but with this apartment you might get just a little bit more. The rooms are tiny, they lack basic amenities like dishwashers, and I haven't seen the building manager since I moved in (despite several calls), but the price is so astronomically low that it evens out. Even if you factor in plumber fees, you wont be living in Lincoln Park for less than this, and even though they're small, the rooms have a certain charm with the right curtains (and the... closets are weirdly good).
