There has been some recent energy to improve many things that were neglected by the previous owner. Things take time. These are nice townhomes with great features. I hope the new focus continues.

Just wanted to let any prospective renters know that Signature no longer owns Maplewood. Its currently owned by Sierra, based out of Illinois. This was an awesome place to live until they took over. No move in specials, no official management onsite, questionable maintenance... keep looking.

These places are beautiful! I have lived in a few different rental situations but this is easily my favorite. It is all brand new. Everything seems to be built nicely. My favorite part is the kitchen (even though I hardly cook!) Everything is so bright and open. I'm not really a pool or party person, so I haven't used much amenities. The gym is adequate for me and my work out buddy to use together. So far everyone I've met here has seemed pretty nice. I really like it here.

I've lived in many apartments in my life. Some better than others. But none have been as fee-ridden or complicated as maplewood.

To start, there is a young staff with a terrible attitude. Zero ability to accommodate and no customer service skills. There is no better illustration of this than on move in day. There were surprise last minute fees, and instead of doing an addendum (because that would have taken 10 minutes instead of 5) the manager re did the lease entirely. All the information... entered, from financial to signatures, needed to be redone. She made it obvious that she didn't care that we didn't have credit card info on us and would have to go back to the prior home to get it again. No empathy, no apologies.

There is also a lot of construction, and the building is incredibly noisy from the street.

Pretty building, but not worth the extra hassle. If I could do it again, I would rent elsewhere. Read More
