The apartments are nice and clean along with the buildings. Price is great!!!! Free cable and heat pool, playground

I have lived at Urban Green apartments for around 20 years. These apartments used to be top-notch, but in the last 2-3 years, management has gotten horrible. It takes an act of God to get things fixed around here. I have been trying to get them to fix the roof on my building so it doesn't leak into my apartment every time it rains decently hard for over a year. They keep finding different excuses, but the outcome is the same, I get wet while standing in certain rooms of my apartment when it's... raining outside. I spoke to the apartment manager's boss a little over two weeks ago about it and she assured me it would get fixed in two weeks time or less. It rained hard a couple of days ago here and I came home to standing water on my floor. I can't say they haven't fixed anything in the past couple of years. They just don't want to fix the major issues with these building.

I've lived here for most of four years.
It is an older complex built maybe in the 1960's but is very well maintained.
The management is very friendly & very responsive to any needs or repairs.
It is a good value & I would recommend the place to anyone.

This is an affordable apartment with a great location close to down town Des Moines. The apartment has nice ammentities like a pool and on site laundry. It was updated recently and has a nice large bedroom and living room. If you are looking for a nice quiete apartment complex just outside of the big city.
