Not a bad location, good walking distance to UNI. Safe environment. Dog and cat friendly. A good amount of space throughout the apartment. The laundry units in the apartment buildings are HORRIBLE and are not worth the price so plan on going to a nearby laundromat. The kitchen has a lot of cupboard space which is nice but the dishwasher was not usable and the oven is very unpredictable. I've never ran a load of dishes without having to rewash all of them even if I rinse all the dishes off before... putting them in the dish washer; and many pizzas and cupcakes have been burnt in that oven. There's also not a lot of hot water so make sure you alternate showering with your roommates to ensure no one's left in Alaska! Also the AC is pretty crappy, we've had it on all day set at 70 degrees and the apartment will still register to almost 80 some days. We've also had quite a problem with bugs in our apartment. We've had ants in several different rooms in the apartment, regardless of constant cleaning to avoid them and at night if I leave my window open I find boxelder bugs all over my apartment the next morning because there's gaps in the window sill. Overall it was a decent first apartment for the price but they need to do some serious renovations and updates to be able to keep up with the other "better" apartment options available.

First College Apartment
For my first apartment on my own, I would have to say this one was a good choice. Campus courts offers 2 or 3 bedroom apartments with reasonable rent prices. I have 3 roomates so we each have our own rooms, plus we have 2 bathrooms which is refreshing. The kitchen is updated a bit, and there's a lot of space which is nice. What I don't like too much is the carpet. It's an odd color and a bit outdated. I also don't agree with the layout and size of the bedrooms. Two rooms are small and one is... quite huge. For college students having 3 bedrooms equal sizes would have been a bit nicer, but thats not a huge deal. Overall I feel like we made a smart decision moving here.
