Location and Getting Around

Kalama Valley is located in Hawaii Kai and is the perfect location if you want to be near to the action of Waikiki without being in the... busyness of downtown. The home is walking distance to Kalama Valley Shopping Center which is home to a coffee shop with sandwiches and acai bowls, Ono Seafood who are known for their Poke Bowls and Thai Valley Cuisine who has been the neighborhood restaurant for 15 years. Sandy Beach is just a mile walk, a great spot for watching the body surfer's and catching a sunset on a clear evening. The Koko Crater Botanical Gardens is down the road where you can enjoy two mile loop through a garden that focuses on the cultivation of rare and endangered dryland plants. Just a 10-minute drive to Costco, Safeway, Longs Drugs and some of Hawaii Kai's best waterfront eateries and less than 5 minutes away from some of Oahu's favorite attractions (Makapu'u Light House and Hanauma Bay). Both Waikiki and Kailua are a 20 minute drive in either direction.
