Avoid This Apartment Complex at All Costs – Especially If You're on a Budget
I very rarely write reviews, but my experience here was so frustrating and disappointing that I feel compelled to warn others. If you're considering living here, don’t. Especially if you’re on a budget or expect even basic competence from your apartment management. This place is a money trap, and the management makes things far worse.
Let’s start with utilities. This complex aggregates utilities across all units and splits the total bill among residents, regardless of your usage or apartment... size. My unit is ~400 sq ft, and I’m barely ever home due to work. I’m out early in the morning and back late at night — and yet I was consistently charged an extremely high amount for electricity/water/gas. It’s way more than my parents pay for an entire house. There’s no transparency and no incentive to conserve power because you’re paying for everyone else's usage anyway.
The condition of the amenities and basic infrastructure is another huge issue. The bathroom has no ventilation whatsoever, which is both uncomfortable and concerning from a hygiene standpoint. On top of that, there are serious flaws in the overall ventilation system — it feels like all the units are connected. You can smell what other residents are cooking or doing in their apartments, sometimes throughout the day through your bathroom! It’s intrusive and makes the space feel anything but private. Noise is just as bad. The walls and floors are paper-thin — I can hear everything from the units above and below me. I’m not talking about loud parties or extreme situations — I can literally hear my upstairs neighbors walking and talking in normal tones. It’s like living in a thin-walled dorm, not a professionally managed apartment building. Hallways are filthy. Elevators are just as bad — at one point, the light inside one elevator was out for WEEKS, and they did absolutely nothing. People rode it in total darkness. You’re also forced to pay a valet trash fee, but the service is a joke — they barely come once a week, and that’s very rare if they do.
