Two security gates meant for security, broken. I don’t understand how brand new fire places, saunas and workout rooms can be installed and reinstalled with noooooo hesitation(which are all things outside of your tenants apartments). This is a place where no one sleeps but is used for show and to make you money. But a refrigerator meant to store me and my son’s food has to be evaluated for replacement. Even though it’s over 20 years old. I sent an email to the property... manager here before close of day yesterday 10/3 didn’t hear anything all day on 10/4.. until I made a phone call to the office at 5 something in the evening( I was busy with my son and his schooling and therapy) just to hear oh they are gonna come tomorrow. I was told oh we got busy on the property today so we didn’t make it over here today. If I hadn’t called no one would have showed up. I’m sorry a refrigerator is a necessity. I’ve had food go bad .. because it doesn’t freeze properly which had to be thrown out. I purposely left items in the freezer so they could see it wasn’t freezing and it was still a debateI was able to stick my finger through my texas toast First, Stephanie walked in with an attitude.. almost like how dare you interrupt my day with your need for an essential appliance.. I was gonna get to it.. no phone call or email.. I’m just sitting here guessing. Dishwasher that doesn’t wash the dishes properly because the detergent door doesn’t close on top of being really really old.. I was told to just change the type of detergent I used at least pretend like you care about other things than your direct deposit sir and ma’ams.
Update as of 12/13/2025
Things that changed since My original review:
I got a new fridge and dishwasher!
Preventative maintenance started on property which as far as I know since I’ve lived here has never happened so kudos.
Things that haven’t changed:
The security gates (we have 3) now all three are wide open.. On 12/12 into 12/13 there were helicopters circling the area right above and around Amber Chase. With not one gate working to help make our living arrangements safe. The entrance gate and the gate by fitness center have been broken for a while now since before October.
I was told the property manager would love to address my concerns lol the really major concerns still haven't been addressed. The security gates and my stove.

I recently toured Amber Chase and felt welcomed by the staff! The community is clean and has a lot of nice amenities for the family. My tour guide was Denise and she helped me figure out which price range would work for me. The apartment I saw was very cute and clean. I would reccommend this place to others.

I have lived on this property now for over a year and never had an issue the property is always clean and I always feel safe. I am a single young lady and the other day I had to stop in the office to handle some work that I wanted to have done in my apartment . Nothing major my dish disposal was backing up from something I put down the sink (I can admit) two of the leasing consultants were on the property showing units and I spoke with Mrs. Samuels who immediately met me to help resolve the... issue she is the asst manager of the property and was clearly very busy and she took the time to stop and speak to me and to make sure my needs where met. She even inquired on how my day was going. I told her I was stepping out and wanted to see if they could send someone to fix it. She assured me it would be handled and I was probably gone 45 and in that time frame she had sent the maintenance man down to take care of it and he had been in and out and left the service repair order with a smiley face that said have a great day and it had been repaired! The maintenance guys are great they always available when needed. especially JT, he such an amazing, and professional person. you can call on him to fix anything and he will delivered.

the only downfall is the rent late fees cast. very high percentage.

When I first moved here in 2018 I LOVED the community. It has slowly gone down hill over the last 4 years. The biggest issue is the MOLD infestation which no one has done anything about. Maintenance will clean it for you but it continues to grow back . It’s written in the lease that you acknowledge there is a mold issue and the property is not held responsible for issues it may cause. The price is way too high for this basic apartment. I work mainly out of town so at first it wasn’t bothersome,... now I hate it . Can’t wait to move. The overflowing trash in the front is an eyesore, the cabinetry is poorly done, neighbors throw Trash in common areas , dog poop in yard. It’s disgusting.
