Day 1 washer didn’t work.
Unit was very dirty and had hand prints on the wall and hair in the drawers.
Unit was not re-cleaned and the management team even with all the photos and proof on move in day refused to do so.
Lots of little issues that have come up over the year plus I have been here. Management enters the property without proper authorization or notification. Must be an emergency situation for them to enter but they will and say they contacted you but didn’t. And then a lot will not... clean up after themselves and leave your doors wide open. Just basic common sense issues.
Claim, “ Fully Furnished “. They are not if you look up the definition that includes a microwave. Across the nation they do this. First place I have seen in many states that lies and doesn’t.
Water pressure in the units is pretty bad you’re lucky to get semi hot water but never anything more than that.
AC is very poor in the units, it will semi get you by in the summer but you will be paying a lot because of how inefficient the units are.
Management Team has been replaced since I have been here because of poor qualities. I am not seeing signs of a better outcome so far from what I have seen.
The units are very overpriced as of 2024 year. You can find many quality locations that are cheaper within 10 miles of this location in Marietta and Kennesaw.

I just want to say how amazing the barrett walk team is!
They always solve my problems right away and help me when needed. Taylor & Bonnie in the office are simply the best and always so kind and helpful. I’ve been living in this apartment complex for about 6 months now and overall it’s been good. Some of the problems I have noticed is how often the gate was broken and how slow it closes. For about a total of 2 months the gate has been broken in some way and anyone could get in. Another thing is the office staff, now I know that staffing will never be perfect but I don’t think there was any good communication between anyone in the office.
I will say though the maintenance team as been... spectacular, they are fast to fix whatever problem happens.
Moving onto the apartment itself, it was in good condition when we first arrived, though the stove wobbles and definitely isn’t balanced correctly. The paint was even but there were a few chips and hold in the wall.
Overall this complex is a 3/5 for the price and area it’s in. Read More
