This place is literally falling apart.

Repairs due to EXTENSIVE TERMITE DAMAGE have been happening on entire buildings for over 6 months with no little to no regard from the property management and no end in sight.

Elevators have not been inspected since 2023 and half of them are broken.

Property is always covered in trash, gates are broken constantly, pet policies and parking policies are not maintained.

The main office is extremely helpful to get you to sign a lease but loses this effect... immediately after you move in.

Same maintenance issues since we moved in in October. We were also promised $1000 off our rent which never happened. Our friend who referred us was supposed to receive $250 which never happened.

My tenure at Drexel collective has unfortunately been marked by a series of disappointments, primarily stemming from the management's apparent lack of attention to basic amenities and security concerns. Two glaring issues stand out: the neglect of maintenance requests and the persistently broken front gate.
Firstly, despite submitting multiple maintenance requests for my dishwasher and stove, the management has regrettably chosen to disregard these issues. It's disheartening to experience such... negligence, as a fully functioning kitchen is essential to daily life. The unresponsiveness to these basic concerns has significantly impacted my satisfaction with living in this community, as the kitchen is a fundamental part of any home.
Equally concerning is the state of the front gate, which has been broken for a staggering 16 months. This prolonged period of disrepair not only undermines the aesthetic appeal of the complex but, more importantly, raises serious security concerns for all residents. The lack of a functioning gate compromises the safety of the entire community, leaving us exposed to potential security risks.
Despite my efforts to bring these matters to the attention of the management, there has been little to no improvement. The frustration and inconvenience caused by the unresolved maintenance requests, coupled with the prolonged security risk posed by the broken front gate, have left me questioning the commitment of Preferred Apartment or new owner Blackstone Real Estate to the well-being of its residents.
Prospective tenants should be aware of these ongoing issues before considering Drexel collective as their home. I can confirm the previous "renter beware" review. Happened to me today. I was told AFTER I applied for a unit that was supposed to be available 9/19 would not be available to move into until October 4th. From the very first day of inquiring, I informed management team I needed to move as soon as possible. There was no communication as far as when my unit would be available only that it would be about a week after the unit was available (which is asinine because you should have a week buffer... before putting on the market to give time for maintenance to turn over. I was told today that I selected October 4th as my move in day online and I'm positive that isn't true because there is no prompt to choose your Move in day when applying.
