I had a very disappointing experience with Element Apartments in Downtown Tampa and would strongly caution others.
I applied for an apartment on April 7 and paid $355 in fees. On April 8, the property manager confirmed that I would be able to move in on April 10 at 3 PM, assuming I submitted standard documentation, which I did immediately.
On April 9, I was told there was a leak in the unit, but the leasing consultant assured me that I would either still be able to move in or be placed in a... furnished guest suite. She explicitly stated that I would not be left without housing due to an issue on their end.
On April 10, I was told the apartment would not be available for about a week and that the guest suite was also unavailable—contradicting what I had been told the day before. I was promised a follow-up call by 2 PM but instead received a delayed text message, and no one has responded to my calls or messages since.
As a result, I had to extend my Airbnb stay at my own expense. The lack of communication, conflicting information, and failure to follow through on commitments made this a very frustrating experience.
I would recommend confirming all details very carefully before relying on any stated move-in timelines here.

Love element
I've lived here for 1 year and 7 months now and I love it my 13th floor spot is wood nice bathroom big walking (have a seat )in my closet ??? and view of bucs raymond stadium amalie lightning and hard rock great service and water never touched my apartment or floor when it happened .this is my home I love it.

Very poor management. Elevators are constantly broken. Management ignores issues. Stay away.

Don't try to work from home.
Forced to use extremely slow Internet Provider! Impossible! Like many people, I am able to work from home by remoting into a server. Unfortunately the Internet service you are forced to use as a tenant makes this impossible to use. When most connections are 30Mbps ... 50 Mbps... You can not function when your connection can be as little as 10Mbps. Especially in the evening when more people come home.
A couple people in the office, like Brooklyn and Jason have promised that this will change... soon. Though every time I follow up with them they offer another excuse. With all the development going on in the neighborhood, they can't afford to continue being ignorant and pretend this is not a problem.

Concierge
Love this place but the current concierge is rude and VERY impatient. Not just with me.... EVERYONE shares the same opinion . It’s aggtavating to deal with attitude daily. We want the former concierge John back!!
