Truly horrible management and customer service

Management is extremely unresponsive, unhelpful, and rude. Genuinely the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced time and time again. Property is beautiful but don’t let that fool you. Everything is fine until you need something from management. Plenty of better places for the same price down West Shore. Trust me, save yourself the headache.

Please save yourself - DO NOT SIGN HERE. NOT WORTH MONEY OR FRUSTRATION. WORST STAFF AND CONSTANT PLUMPING AND WATER ISSUES.

Our lease began in Sept 2025 with a broken pipe above us. We understand things happen, but the lack of reaction to water coming out of multiple light fixtures in the kitchen was concerning. They promised to clean these fixtures, which they never did.
Flash forward to this past Sunday there was an issue with a washing machine in the unit above us (another plumping issue, shocking) and once again our apartment was raining. The amount of water caused electricity to go out in multiple rooms and for...
WiFi to be shut off. Maintenance told us they would work on it Monday once dried. I work remote so I had to find a cafe for Monday and tried calling 3 separate times and leaving voicemails asking for the status of our home. The only response received after 3 pm was that electricity would be back on by end of day. I came home after work and unsurprisingly they had lied again. We asked our neighbors if they had power back and they told us that Amelia had called them saying it wouldn’t be fixed until Tuesday.
On Tuesday morning I took PTO to ask in person why they ignored us, why our neighbors received the update and we didnt, and when the power would be back on so I could update my work. I was then yelled at by Angel that I was “doing too much” and he could not “update every hour”. Hourly updates were not expected, but if someone tells you power will be back on EOD you'd expect them to update if that changed?? I felt uncomfortable being yelled at by him, almost as if it was an intimidation tactic to stop complaining (because how dare we complain that we were on day 3 of no power or WiFi), and asked for leadership. Lucy, the property manager, then took me to her office.
While explaining the issues to Lucy, Angel aggressively came into the office and sat across from me. I asked Lucy to please have him be removed because I was extremely uncomfortable and she asked him to leave. He then REFUSED TO and said he felt like “listening in”. As a woman who was just yelled at by this man for asking when our power would be back, to then have him follow me into a tiny office and refuse to leave when I said I was uncomfortable, I was disgusted. After Lucy asked him several more times he finally left, though it’s not surprising she was unable to manage her staff based on how she manages her property. She did nothing to appease this mess, and said she thought someone updated us last night which felt dismissive and uncaring. As of 10:30 Tuesday morning there is still no power/WiFi.

I love Amelia

Amelia is the BEST apartment complex ever! Best decision I have ever made! The staff is the best people ever with their continuous love and support. They are so helpful! I love amelia!

horrendous management

where do I begin? id like to publicly say that MANAGER Flerida is the worst manager in tampa! after months of noise complaints about our upstairs neighbors screaming, fighting, cursing and banging(no joke, not normal everyday noise) through the night into the morning- and being threatened by the noisy neighbors ( who broke my gas cap), absolutely nothing was done to solve the issue. Adam on the other hand was fantastic, he always tried to solve any issues with poise.


After over a year of...
living at the Jefferson noise issues were never handled, especially if it was during quiet hours... Although when we listened to music at a normal level in the middle of the day(4pm), Flerida had no problem coming to our apartment to tell us to be quiet. Ive lived all over the world and never dealt with a manger with such double standards! extremely disappointed with the Jefferson. DO NOT MOVE HERE UNLESS YOU ENJOY CONSTANT ISSUES.

AND

WHEN YOU YOU MOVE OUT BE PREPARED TO PAY FOR NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR ON THEIR CHEAP ESTABLISHMENT- ie door frame that is not damaged, just had someone living in the apartment it was in-

Over Priced

When I first got to Tampa I was in need for an apartment to live in. I moved here because it looks nice on the outside and very friendly people that work in the office. Once I moved in I realized how bad it was, but I was stuck in a lease. I lived by the road and every time a semi truck drove by it felt like we were getting an earthquake. I am a very clean person and no matter what I did there were ants all over and big roaches throughout the building. Furthermore, the pool was supposed to... be heated, but it was ice cold until deep in the summer. When my lease came up for renewal I had to sign another one while I was getting everything ready to move. My rent went up $300 after the first years. They charge $40 a month for a mandatory trash service that you have to use. Oh and don't leave your trash can out over night because they will charge you $25 fee for that. All in all I was not impressed with anything here. It was a roof over my head and that was a bout it. Looks fancy on the outside but not on the inside.
