This community has something to hide. They are directly across the street from a power substation which emits radiation. The leasing agent said it was of no concern at all and not to be worried. When I gave her the facts on radiation in relation to distance from substations, she was shocked and obviously had no idea what she was talking about. I bought a handheld meter on Amazon for $40, is the size of a cell phone and simply detects radiation from any distance you are in. Battery operated. She... refused to let me on the property with this EMF reader and said I have to be a vendor to have any 'equipment' on property. I was going to lease a brand new two bedroom unit based on MORE promises of hers, such as a dog park and gym being completed soon, although they were absolutely no pictures or literature or anything showing that this will actually happen. The inside of the units are beautiful but something shady is going on here. I would encourage anyone looking to live here to do your research about EMF radiation as it does cause cancer and tumors.

Thank you for your review of Ridgeview Apartment Homes. Our buildings were built and are being renovated under the appropriate building codes at said time. All work has been permitted, inspected and certificates of occupancy issued by Pinellas... County. I would suggest if you have questions concerning Duke Energy Power Lines substation you direct them to Duke Energy or the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) who oversees the distribution of electricity. As these structures are not on our property we are not able to address your questions. In regards to our upcoming amenities, we will be completing our fitness center, dog park and landscaping in the very near future. Our renovation process started with our buildings and interiors of apartments so we are excited to move on to the amenity phase! Again we appreciate your feedback and wish you luck in your apartment search.
