I can’t say enough about how helpful, accommodating, and friendly all the staff is! Maintenance gets to your request so fast, usually same day, and does an amazing job. Alexis, Jennifer, and Angela in the office have been so kind and willing to hear concerns and help solve them. Can’t say enough good about this complex!! And my apartment is beautiful.

I am livid. I have never had a hard time parking here, until the parking mandate started on Dec 1. The past few nights, I had to park far away in non-resident parking, walk through dark parking lots to get home, and hope for the best that my car didn't get towed. It is absurd. This policy was put into place on Dec 1. That morning at 7:20am, I asked if I could get a reserved spot near my apartment. They replied at 8:04am that I would have to stop by the office. I replied I couldn't since I have... to go to work, and the office is only open from 9-5. I got my general parking pass via email the week before, so I asked if I could do this the same way. They never replied. That night at 7:21pm, I asked about a specific spot that was empty/unreserved. They never replied. I called on Dec 2 at 11:45am. I mentioned the exact spot I wanted. I was told I'd be called back in ten minutes to sort it out. They did not call back. Instead, at 12:29pm, they sent a mass email to everyone changing the parking policy (making spots cheaper). I called back ten times throughout the day and did not get through. I was willing to buy a spot at the higher price, and was not able to do so. Instead, people who walked into the office got all the spots. It is frustrating that people at home during the day grabbed all the reserved spots, and I wasn't able to get a spot - especially since I asked by both their portal and by calling before the price change happened - and will have to park far away and in the dark. I did finally get a call back right before the office closed, to be told that the only spots left were near a building that you have to walk around a swamp pit in the dark to get to my building from or a premium spot that costs more money (also not near my unit). I have never been this mad at an apartment complex.

So parking is awful. Also, when I moved in the refrigerator did not work. So after driving all the way down from DC, I couldn't even go to the grocery store to stock up on food when I first get here. Don’t do it! The new management is rude, and they have showed what this apartment complex truly wants: MONEY! They don’t care about your comfort or really anything about you. They care about how much money they can get out of you. I have been here 3 months now and everything has been great! I had been working with Jennifer since January to get an apartment here and she definitely made it happen. Super happy with maintenance and the community itself. Very quiet and friendly neighborhood this is to live in. The apartment itself is really nice. My favorite part is the big kitchen island! And the best of all, THEY LOVE DOGS! I struggled for a few months to find a place not just in Sarasota, but Florida in general with my... German Shepherds. We absolutely love it here! My family has lived here since March with our 2 kids. Since then we have made amazing friendships with our neighbors, gotten to know and love the management staff and been to countless resident events. The maintenance does a great job fixing things in a timely manner, the management answers every question that they can and the event staff makes you feel like you’re part of their family. We wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. We LOVE Venue Live Oak!
