I moved into the apartment over a year ago. I saw the reviews and was skeptical. The new management is great. The building is older and it seems that is the residents who were used to the old management style that have a problem. The front office has been very tentative. They have helped a friend of mine get a place when no one else would take them. The units have been recently upgraded and the maintenance staff respond quickly.

I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. Despite paying an additional deposit due to being displaced by a hurricane, maintaining perfect rental payment history, and providing a proper 30-day notice, I was met with an exorbitant charge to leave my lease early—something I had no control over due to a serious medical diagnosis (lung cancer).

The apartment was returned in impeccable condition, yet there was no understanding or flexibility shown by management.

Throughout my time... there, the property was poorly maintained. The fitness center was consistently unusable and left in disarray, and many nights were disrupted by children running and screaming through the halls and landings with little to no intervention.

The rent is extremely high for what you actually get in return. In my experience, there was little concern for tenant comfort or well-being, especially for those of us who take care of our homes and pay rent on time.

I believe this complex needs to rethink how they treat respectful residents and handle difficult situations. Unfortunately, my experience has been deeply disappointing, and I cannot in good conscience refer anyone to live here. Read More

Laundry rooms are always dirty and machines were broken for weeks. Property manager does not work the property and has no attention to detail. Stair cases are filthy. I’ve never had roaches before in all my years living in Florida but I’ve battled with them here. Place has a pool but no lounge chairs to be actually able to enjoy the sun. Area around dumpsters is always very dirty. We are constantly having to complain about things that are common sense to have in order.

VillaDova is a great place to live. The management really cares about residents' experiences here. The dog park they recently added is a plus for people with pets! I'd recommend this place to other people.
