Dismissive Property Manager

The apartment itself is great. The location is great. The grounds are clean, and honestly, if I was reviewing only the property, this would be a much higher rating.

The reason for this review is management, specifically Property Manager Tasha Dunnigan.

When we leased, we were told multiple times that we would have a second parking space. After moving in, we spent about two weeks waiting for it because of office technical issues. During that time, one of our vehicles ended up being towed, at...
our cost; while we were on “no tow list”.

When we wnet back to get the issue resolved today, we were told the second parking space would cost an fee per month. Whether there was a misunderstanding during leasing or not, what bothered me most was not the charge itself, it was how the conversation was handled.

Instead of listening to our concerns as new residents feeling tricked, we were constantly told “why isn’t it in writing” and point at flyers saying “doesn’t matter what we said these are the rules for everyone, even if we were in the wrong and your already moved in; pay for the second spot or you can’t park”. Then told we were creating a narrative, and continued to be made to feel like we were the problem for simply asking questions. Every attempt to explain why we were frustrated was met with defensiveness rather than understanding.

We attempted to get a solution before by coming in person every other day since the moving in to have the second spot assigned, but unable to due to lights or internet issues.

Tasha said the conversation was over on her end, while our issue was still unresolved and Tasha stood up in the middle of mine and my fiancée’s conversation for a solution and walked away to her office, shut the door, and then threatened to call the police if we did not leave after we were simply trying to finish a conversation about a problem we had been dealing with for weeks.

Mistakes happen, but the solution to errors caused by the lessors should not be resolved at the cost of the tenant. What people do expect is respect, communication, and some willingness to acknowledge when management’s delays have caused problems for residents.

The issue is not resolved, please feel free to contact me. The parking spot is an issue and error on Arabella’s end but Tasha’s rudeness, dismissiveness, and threats to call the police are not acceptable when our experience with our leasing agent was completely different kind and respectful.

Don't read into the negative reviews!!

I feel the need the set these people straight. I've been living here for 10 years now and there is absolutely nothing negative about living in this place other then the need for recycling dumpsters. The community has rules that alot of people have a hard time following, and after a few warnings, they're getting evicted. These are the same people giving this community bad reviews out of spite. Come by and do the tour to see for yourselves. The maintenance team is one of the best around and the... amenities and management team are priceless. The community thrives in keeping the tenants safe and the property in the best condition. I am proud of the vigilance and pride that the management team takes in ensuring that we are provided with the best apartment rental communities have to offer. Bless this community, and continue to keep out and evict the bad apples.

do not rent

either maintenance doesn’t respond to maintenance requests or they charge to fix everything nor does leasing office respond to phone calls, they tow your car even while being a registered vehicle, the walls are thin i can hear everything my neighbors are doing on the weekend, rude neighbors leaving notes at my door threatening me! pitiful place!

Don't rent here!!!!!!!!!

I would not recommend this place at all. They don't clean the hallways dead animals and stains are in the hallway. Some stain have been for the past 6 months. It's a beautiful property but they seem to rent to the lowest class of people they can find. Mainance staff is top notch and know their job very well. The leasing staff are pretty nice and I see they try. I've never seen security here to enforce the rules
I've seen homeless people sleeping at the pool lounge chairs. They really need to...
have better security her. Don't rent here
