Only positive experiences!
Our first impression of the community was with Stephen in the leasing office to discuss the community, and he’s been very helpful and hospitable every step of the way, and I can only imagine that being the standard for the management here. We toured a 3rd story, 3-bedroom initially, as a family of 6 with our dog. Everyone was pleased! We liked what we saw; the apartments feel very home-like, with tall ceilings, modern finishings, and ample space.
To my delight and surprise, this... community, Grandeville at River Place, is the only apartment community I have known to offer 4-bedroom units. And that is what we chose: 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, a first-floor unit. And so far, it has been everything we wanted in an apartment home. The floors are a durable, attractive laminate plank; the walls are a textured fresh white color, featuring both wood baseboards and crown moldings. The unit is abundant with windows, and excellent-quality blinds and the fans make for comfortable Florida living. The kitchen was recently remodeled; it has fresh and stylish cabinetry and stainless steel appliances, and I love the natural stone countertops. All in all, in this community, you do genuinely get what is advertised. There is a really cool bowling alley lane in the leasing office, and the gym appears clean and well-maintained. I haven’t been to or used the pool yet, but it looks like a fun oasis.
I’d also like to add, it is March 2026 as I am writing. I did notice some negative reviews about the property on various apartment listing sites, and I would like to address that. Grandeville at River Place was built in 2002, and it seems there have been levels of renovation done. When you apply, take notice of “premium” and “premium plus,” which indicates the recent renovations. To the best of my knowledge, the renovations started in 2020. The walls are NOT paper-thin; in fact, the walls need a drill to hang anything. I haven’t seen any insect activity, but it is Florida, so the odd one-off bug is to be expected. As stated, keep in mind many reviews were under old management and do not reflect the quality and standards of the management today. I genuinely cannot complain.
Maintenance has already come out twice for us, and they have conducted themselves professionally and friendly.
We can’t complain, as a family of 6, husband and wife, 4 kids, even our Shepherd dog feels at home already!
