1. Elevator wait times are 5-10 mins (each way) 2. Elevators constantly break, when they do you have to take the stairs 20-30 flights 3. Paying for parking does not guarantee you a spot, they installed lifts 4. Business center lacking plugs, insulation and chairs that fit the desks 5. Automated package system rarely works, usually have to search 100’s of packages to find yours 6. You have to scan your app THREE TIMES to get into your apartment. This is so annoying, especially when carrying... groceries or things. There is also no service in the elevators so people hold the doors open which makes elevator wait times worse
Process below (for building entrance, elevator and your apartment door) … imagine carrying groceries A. Unlock phone B. Open lively app C. Click key button D. Hold phone to door E. Wait for door to open F. Open door
Pros 1. Friendly staff

Luxury implies a level of service…
I’ve been a resident at 2000 Biscayne for the past several months, and what was advertised as “luxury living” has quickly unraveled into a nightmare. What’s happening here is more than just poor management—it’s a full display of neglect, cost-cutting, and disregard for residents’ safety and well-being.
Two weeks a massive flood caused by a building system failure damaged half of the units in the building, from the 33rd floor down to the lobby. Water poured through ceilings, walls, elevator... shafts, and into people’s homes all the way down the building. There was zero proactive communication from management. Instead, residents were left scrambling to protect their spaces and belongings, many now dealing with mold growth due to the delayed response.
We were offered only one week of rent credit and our utility bills covered—which should be a given, since the issue was their fault. The compensation is laughably inadequate compared to the damage and disruption we experienced. Some of us had to temporarily relocate and pay out of pocket just to get through the week. Still, management refuses to take responsibility or even provide transparent updates.
To make things worse, the building is cheaply built. In the six months I’ve lived here, we’ve had: • Frequent power outages that disable elevators and leave people stranded • Weak security systems with little to no video surveillance • Ongoing staff turnover because good employees can’t be retained due to budget cuts • Mold, leaks, and maintenance issues that go unresolved for weeks
All of this while management focuses on marketing to new residents, offering flashy tours and leasing perks, while completely ignoring the people who already live here.
Also worth noting: the suspicious 5-star reviews that “shout out” a specific employee are fake. It’s a desperate attempt to bury the truth under false positivity. Don’t fall for it.
This building is a house of cards, and it’s collapsing under the weight of its own shortcuts.
