This is my third year here and I want to warn anyone reading this, do not live here. The good reviews are incentives given by the front office, free gifts and such in return for a 5 star review. My first year was okay, the appliances work at around 30-50% ability (my dryer took 3 turns to fully dry a small load, our dishwasher is practically useless, water pressure is abysmal). I also take issue with the internet, it is ridiculously slow and goes out all the time (it went out on me taking an... honor lock exam!). But those issues seem like nothing to me now after what I’ve been through in my second and now current third year in a different unit. I moved units and our dryer was broken upon move in. The dryer was leaking water and was creating a mold problem in our laundry room. Management told us we would have to pay out of pocket for a new one, despite moving in to it broken. It took TWO MONTHS to get it fixed, and in those months it took hours of reaching out and waiting for maintenance who may not show up at all, who didn’t truly look at the dryer because it turned out it was such a small easy fix that when a new maintenance man came that wasn’t our regular, it took him 10 minutes to fix the whole problem. After TWO MONTHS of fighting with them. Now as I’ve started my third year, I have found my unit is infested with termites, and they have destroyed the baseboard of our front door and patio door. They are winged, suggesting they’ve been here for YEARS. I shouldn’t be surprised because on the wooden post in front of the complex when you drive in is swarming and disintegrated by termites. That post is also no where near my apartment, suggesting the entire complex is infested with them. Do not live here unless you want problems that you will have to fight about every step of the way and slimy random $10 charges as management only cares about how they can screw you for your money. I’ve had a great experience living here so far. The complex is well maintained, management is easy to communicate with, and my maintenance requests are handled quickly. I also always feel safe here, which is so valuable to me. Overall, it’s been a comfortable and positive place to live, I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking in the area.
