Office help is awesome, maintenance does a fantastic job, apartment is very roomy, if u need anything ask for Ginger as she has always helped me and pointed me in the right direction, also everything u want store wise is very close to the apartment

The community itself is peaceful, clean, and well-maintained. And the office staff/ maintenance is top notch!

We lived here for 3 years and absolutely loved it. The staff is fantastic and the community is so quiet and cute. Loved the gym and the private pond. We will definitely miss living here. We only moved because we bought a house. If you are looking for a new apartment I would definitely recommend Story at Lake Gibson.

I lived at this property and, overall, my experience while I was a resident was positive. The staff were generally friendly and responsive during my lease. However, my experience after moving out was very disappointing and raises serious concerns about fairness and billing practices.

After I left, I was charged for several items that do not reflect my actual usage or actions. For example, my monthly water bill during my stay averaged around $100 for a full 30 days. For my final month, when I... only stayed about 10 days, I was billed over $120, which does not make sense.

Additionally, I was charged more than $130 for trash removal, even though I followed the provided instructions exactly. I left two properly packed trash bags, as I consistently did throughout my stay, and did not leave excess waste in the unit. There is more but I would leave it at that.

There were also cleaning-related charges, such as vacuuming, that seemed arbitrary. These types of charges feel subjective and not clearly justified. As a result of these cumulative fees, I lost my full security deposit and was left with an additional balance, which is very frustrating.

To be fair, Ginger was the only staff member who was consistently helpful and professional throughout my time there.

I encourage management to review and improve their move-out inspection and billing transparency. Clear documentation, consistent standards, and fair billing practices would go a long way in building trust with residents. Read More
