If you care about your quality of living do not move here. I have experienced so many problems since moving in. The apartment was nothing like the one shown in the tour. One of the bedrooms has a french door instead of a regular one, there are no light fixture in the bedrooms or living room, and the wall outlets are controlled with light switches instead. Don't even get me started on the mold and cabinets. Parking is a nightmare, there are people driving around, yelling, playing music, and... leaving trash everywhere. I have discovered animal poop on the stairs TWICE! The maintenance sucks, no one knows what they're doing and they tend to break stuff and call it 'fixed'. I signed a 14 month lease, and within even 2 months of being here, I absolutely regret it.
- The first night I was here, someone pulled the fire alarm when there was no fire.
- Moved in on a Thursday, and the air conditioning broke Friday morning, in August. Called the emergency line, and was told someone would come out and fix it. No one came. Called again on Saturday, and the poor guy who answered had no idea that the air was broke. He thankfully was able to come out and fix it that... afternoon.
- My girlfriend's car was broken in to and her air bag was stolen. When the police got here and let someone who worked here know, he told the cop "Yeah, this is the third time it's happened this month". Yet, they have no cameras in the parking lot.
- The walls are incredibly thin. So much so that when my neighbor blasts her music, I can hear every lyric and can tell you who the artist is. I can also hear her slap her children, and I'm not exaggerating. Six people in a one bedroom apartment. Four of them are children. All I hear ALL day EVERY day is the youngest screaming.
- No one pays for the carport parking, yet everyone parks there, and the same neighbor who's obnoxiously loud parks in TWO spots and doesn't pay for them. This was brought to the office's attention, and nothing was ever done. So paying for a spot is a complete rip off.
- There is ALWAYS garbage in the hallway. They pressure cleaned the breezeway two to three times in a month, and the stains left by the garbage never came up. The smell is disgusting.
- Gate has been broken twice already. Not that it even matters because everyone tailgates someone else inside the community. The gate stays open enough to let 9 cars pass through. This was probably how the person who's been breaking into cars gets in the community.
- I received a delivery and came home to find the box was ripped opened, and the person who opened it put it upside down so it looked like it was still closed. I didn't notice until i lifted up the package and the contents fell out of the bottom.
I've even emailed the office asking if someone could speak to the obnoxious neighbors, and was never emailed back. Not even to say they received the email, which I KNOW they did because it's the same email thread that I inquired about paying for a parking spot. Funny that I didn't hear from the office until I emailed in again asking to pay for a spot. They responded the same day.

Lived here 2 yrs. and the people they let live here are hood rats. Dirty, bugs, no respect for others privacy. Have been woken up in the middle of the night at least 2-4 times a week due to young disrespectful people living here. All that is done by mang. Is the tenets are given a verbal talking too. If you are over 40 choose somewhere else to live. Last time we were at pool there were diapers floating in it.

I couldn't have picked a better place for my first place on my own. I was so hesitant about moving out but Emerald Lakes made my transition so easy. I always feel safe and appreciate coming home to a place that has friendly and helpful staff. There really is no place like your own home!
