Welcome to Slow Water at Staples, a furnished two-bedroom, one-bath residence in a peaceful canal-front duplex on the island of Key West-residential, welcoming, and hidden in plain sight. RATE INFORMATION The displayed $4,500 monthly rent is a general starting rate and does not apply to every date or term. Limited discounted summer opportunities may begin at $3,300 per month. Winter, holiday, and other high-demand dates may be higher. We will confirm the exact residence, dates, rate, utilities, deposit, fees, taxes, and terms in writing before you apply, pay, or make any commitment. THE RESIDENCE Slow Water at Staples includes two similar, but not identical, furnished two-bedroom residences within one canal-front duplex. We offer the residence that best matches confirmed availability, property work, and the requested term. Before you commit, we will identify the exact residence and provide its current photos, sleeping arrangements, amenities, and any material differences for your review and acceptance. Each residence is approximately 750 square feet and includes: • Two bedrooms and one bathroom • Equipped kitchen and dining area • Comfortable living room and television • Air conditioning and Wi-Fi • Shared on-premises laundry • One off-street parking space There is currently no dedicated office or desk. Residents planning to work remotely should confirm that the available setup suits their needs. CANAL-FRONT SETTING The public canal lies just beyond the shared yard, offering a peaceful place to enjoy morning coffee, watch the tide and local wildlife, or fish from the edge. Bicycles and recreational water equipment may sometimes be available for approved resident use. Availability is not guaranteed, and use is subject to separate equipment and safety rules. We live and work nearby, respond promptly, and enjoy helping residents connect with useful Key West resources, community information, and local recommendations. TERMS We offer furnished monthly and extended stays subject to availability and applicable requirements. A $495 refundable security deposit and a one-time $300 nonrefundable turnover cleaning fee apply to typical monthly stays. Additional screening or deposit terms may apply to longer residential agreements and will be disclosed before application. Any damage-protection program is supplemental and does not replace the resident's responsibility for damage. Utilities and any usage allowance will be identified in the written quote and agreement. Applications are currently free. Every adult occupant must apply, and screening may be required at the applicant's disclosed actual cost. Applying does not reserve the residence. A reservation requires approval, a signed agreement, and cleared required funds. Animals may be considered individually with prior written approval. Assistance-animal requests are handled separately under applicable law. WATERFRONT NOTE The canal is a public waterway and is not part of the rented premises. The property does not include a private dock or boat slip, and no promise is made concerning swimming, water quality, or watercraft mooring.
