I truly loved my experience living at Vista Brooklyn!
The apartment was beautiful, and the maintenance team always responded quickly and professionally. The building has a great gym, a lovely pool, a multi-level parking garage, and even a small dog park. The management and staff were always kind and helpful, and the location is perfect — surrounded by cafés, restaurants, and shops.
I have only positive memories from living here — thank you, Vista Brooklyn!

I've lived at Vista for 2 years now and have seen it go for decent to disgusting. I've gone through 3 property managers in the short time. The tours have a certain route, those are the only areas maintained, and at that its not great, VB used to be advertised as "LUXURY LIVING" and now is "DISTINCTIVE LIVING" the floors are disgusting, see floor 5 and 8. The walls are disgusting, see Pool area and halls of 5,8,9. The floor is called no mans land because of the smell and dirtiness. Don't forget... to look at the stairwells, your will certainly cross throw up and dog urine. The loading/unloading dock is full of dog urine. The dog park is seldom used because it has worms and gives puppies eye infections. The coffee machines are generally out of service. If you tour, try to look at more of the property than the tour. the pool view is amazing, but don't be fooled, notice the very few and damaged loungers and tabled. The electrical wires have been hanging over and near the water for 2 weeks. the walls were to be painted 2 years ago, the floors were to be re-done last year. The new management team has been here for a month and 3 have quit. The new manager is all words and on a power trip, with empty promises. you will pay a premium price for a premium dirty apartment. I have lived in Brooklyn Vista since the first year it opened. I watched it go from the most amazing place to live to what it is now...a place that I cannot wait for my lease to be up. First of all, they entice you with a tour of the 10th floor pool and clubhouse, showing you beer taps that have NEVER been operable. 4 big screen TVs that only show local programming. Dirty pool area. Fewer and fewer reclining chairs at the pool each week. Filthy gas grills that start up 1 out of every 3 or 4... attempts. Front desk staff who will not acknowledge your presence unless you literally bank on the desk (not Titus, he is awesome). Parking garage gates that break and always take a month to be repaired. It’s a great place for a city lifestyle. It’s in the center of Jax and has great amenities! Highly recommended for anyone moving from out of town.
