People
People are what makes an apartment a true community. I was lost, scared to commit and had no idea what I was doing when I walked into the leasing office. I made a connection with the leasing agent and even though it took me months to come in and sign the lease, he was there every step of the way, giving me advice and doing what he could to help, not just to get into these apartments, but to get into the "right" apartment for me, my fiancé and our baby girl. Now, a month later, we are close to... our neighbors, making mommy daddy baby play dates with other families and spending great quality time building our future. The apartment is nice, but the people are what closed the deal for us. With all the problems going on in the world and in The States, I know that I can go to any of my neighbors, no matter race, ethnicity or background, and I can get the help, advice or friendly conversation that every human being longs for. I came from a "well-off" family, but as a new mom and just starting out, it's a struggle. My fiancé came from a broken family, on his own since he was a teenager, having nothing but big dreams and love for me and now our daughter. But we don't judge because of people's pasts, and around here, people don't judge us, and there's nothing more I could want.
