Let's be honest, there are pros and cons about any place to live. The pros at Edison Grand include location, beautful lobby, café, gym, pool/deck area, and free parking. If you rent here, read the lease carefully and get all your questions answered in writing. Do NOT trust what they tell you verbally. The rents may seem "reasonable" but the square footage is small. Know that the rent is just the beginning of what your total monthly costs will be. You decide if the fees are over the top! ... First, the lease reads that management pays for wired Internet and basic cable. This is not true. This is the old lease left unchanged. Despite making you pay for wireless Internet, they do not supply wired Internet or basic cable TV as guaranteed in the lease. The lease further lists some item charges "TBA." Here's what TBA's among other changes mean monthly for our unit: Internet - $110, renter's insurance - $12, pest control - $10, trash - $15, water - $50, sewer - $68, electric - $68, administration fee $4.78, for a total of $339.73 EXTRA per month over the rent. Oh, and if you pay online, there's a convenience fee of $7.95 each time you make a payment transaction. Marajuana is used openly on the pool deck and outside deck. Drug deals are made as well on the premises. There are no security personnel to monitor drug use, drug deals, or homeless people sleeping on the premises. Terrible management. Maintenance is a joke. Mold issues throughout the building. A/C never works. Elevators constantly down and fire alarms constantly going off

"Don't be fooled by the 'luxury' label – the Edison Grand is a major disappointment. The building is plagued with issues. Elevators are constantly out of service, making it incredibly difficult to get to your apartment, especially if you live on a higher floor. The pool is often closed or malfunctioning, and even the air conditioning is unreliable, which is unacceptable in the Florida heat. Despite the high rent, the promised amenities are frequently unavailable. The lack of consistent... maintenance and the frequent problems make this a frustrating place to live. Management seems unresponsive to these ongoing issues, leaving residents feeling ignored and helpless. They lost the SECURTY company because they did not pay them and never replaced them. Read More
