I've been living in this apartment complex for several years now, and while there are some positive aspects, the pet policy and upkeep of common areas leave much to be desired. As a dog owner, I paid the required $300 pet fee upfront and continue to pay $25 every month. Despite these fees, the outdoor areas are constantly littered with animal waste, making walks with my dog frustrating and unpleasant.
The staff claims they collect samples to fine owners who don’t pick up after their pets, but... I’ve never seen this actually enforced. It feels like they’re just collecting fees without addressing the real issue. If you're a pet owner thinking about moving here, be prepared to deal with a lack of cleanliness and little accountability when it comes to keeping the grounds clean.

Legacy Union Square is awesome. From my first contact with Sierra to my interactions with Christian and maintenance, I have been treated well and all questions are answered within minutes to hours, not days to weeks. The application, approval, and contract process is seamless. The grounds are well-maintained. I have had no problems with smokers. The kitchen is huge, and plenty of storage for everything. This community isn't smoke free. Even worse - people smoke not only cigarettes here. And sell it.

This complex looks good at first sight. Unfortunately residents and management make it pretty uncomfortable here.
If you are looking for peace, considerate neighbors, helpful manager - look elsewhere. This place is noisy, full of sketchy people and run by selfish manager.

After a move from Palm Beach, our first stop in Mid-State Florida was less than we expected. After satisfying a short term 3 month lease, we discovered Legacy Union Square in Davenport. We couldn't be happier! The apartment is bright, spacious, modern and comfortable. The storage and closet space is superb! The location is absolutely amazing, as I have several different alternative routes to work that can be adjusted based on traffic. Everything you need...from grocery to restaurants are... close by. The hot air balloon launches that happen every so often are magical. It's a quiet respective community, and dog friendly! People actually pick up after their pets...what a relief.
