I have submitted several requests for pest control since moving into this apartment. When I first moved in October, the apartment appeared to be in good condition, but after living here for several months, I have experienced ongoing maintenance issues that have made my living situation extremely frustrating.

The blinds on the patio door have fallen off, the patio door and screen door frequently get jammed, the kitchen cabinet doors easily come off because the screws do not stay secure, and the... laundry room door also gets stuck. These issues have continued despite reporting them.

The biggest and most concerning issue has been the ongoing roach infestation. I have contacted pest control multiple times, kept my apartment clean, and followed recommendations, but the problem has not improved. Small roaches continue to appear every single day. They are not just occasional sightings — they appear to be coming from inside the walls, behind appliances, and other areas of the apartment.

I have even found bugs inside my refrigerator. There is a crack/hole in the plastic area where the refrigerator door connects to the inside, and I believe this may be one of the places they are entering from. It feels as though the infestation is beyond something regular pest control treatments can handle, and I believe a professional extermination is needed.

The age and condition of the building also seem to contribute to these ongoing issues. The laundry appliances have also been problematic. I frequently have to restart the washer or dryer multiple times, even when washing normal-sized loads, because my clothes do not properly wash or dry.

Overall, my experience living here has been very disappointing and not what I expected when I first moved in. I also experienced issues with the lease agreement process and a misunderstanding regarding a teacher discount. Unfortunately, the communication surrounding that situation was handled poorly, and I felt disrespected by one of the office staff members during that time.

At this point, the combination of the pest infestation, ongoing maintenance problems, and overall experience has made living here feel uncomfortable and unlivable. I will not be renewing my lease, and I would not recommend this community to others based on my experience.

I recently moved into Advenir at Clermont and have been extremely disappointed with my experience so far. The maintenance team is slow to respond to requests and often does a subpar job, leading to recurring issues in my apartment. The management is unresponsive and unhelpful, making it difficult to resolve any concerns or issues that arise. Advenir at Clermont is the dirtiest cockroach den I’ve ever had the displeasure of living at.

Apartment was not rent ready, when we moved in. All items were never fixed. Management constantly turning over. Closed out tickets for repairs, when no one even came to apartment. Myself and all my neighbors have cameras on the door. Parking is terrible. The leasing office is always losing paper work and asking for it over and over again.

Our move-in ready unit wasn't cleaned or maintained prior to our move-in. Roaches, stains and smears everything, all nasty! Leasing office and management company won't do anything, and won't admit responsibility. Find a better community worth your money and peace of mind.
