Overall, The Oaks is a nice place to live. The apartment community and its buildings are well maintained, and the grounds are pleasant and well-kept.
The on-site property manager is responsive, but their hands seem tied by the property's policies. If you report issues like barking dogs or noisy neighbors, you're simply told to call the local police. I checked with the police—they don’t recommend that approach. It’s a poor policy that leaves residents without meaningful support.
And there are... several dog owners here who let their dogs bark and bark and bark. The earliest has been around 6 am. I'm supposed to call the police for that? Come on.
One odd note: I was strongly encouraged to leave a review the day I moved in. Kind of funny in hindsight, considering how little you can know about a place on Day One.

Great place to live!
Everything is well maintained, it's peaceful and quiet, and the communication from Nick, the property manager, is excellent. If there is an issue with anything, he always goes above and beyond to resolve it. He's super friendly and helpful! Would highly recommend living here.

Clean, spacious, quiet
Love this place! Quality construction, quality appliances and great grounds. Property manager is responsive and communicates upcoming maintenance events well.
