Fire ALARM

the fire alarm goes off for NO reason at least monthly. We all stand out on the street for about an hour each month- pets in tow. It’s dangerous and disorderly and there’s never any real fire concern.

The units are fine but the shower heat doesn’t last long. The package room is a DISASTER and there is no organization. It’s impossible to find packages.

I would not recommend moving here at this time, even at a reasonable price.

The Stanley is a smoke-free building. Unfortunately, there are some tenants that have not abided by the no smoking rule. The smoke detectors installed in our apartments are wired correctly. If a smoke detector in an apartment is triggered (by... smoking or cooking), tenants mistakenly open their apartment door to let smoke out into the hallway which triggers the building alarm, which accounts for the overwhelming majority of the alarms. Recently, in one instance, the alarm was triggered by a frozen pipe that burst in the garage. The repair was made quickly and further action was taken to ensure it would not re-occur. Garden Homes has communicated with our tenants on a regular basis about this problem and we remain hopeful that, with their cooperation, this issue will be eliminated.

Horrible management

I would not recommend living in this building
Horrible management, building supervisors doesn’t help with any of your problems. Over priced apartments truly not worth it.

We are sorry that your experience living at the Stanley has not been as exceptional as we have heard from many other new residents. It is for the good and safety of all of our 186 other residents that we must enforce the terms of the rental... agreement, even if that means a less than optimal experience for one resident.

Very comfortable and new

I moved in about 2 months ago and can say I settled in fairly quickly. Very cozy and clean. The super is always on site during the day. Basically all rentals here are studios with the alcove bedroom. I will say the air in my apt doesn’t circulate in my room because of the layout so you have to get a floor fan for night time if you like to sleep cold. Other than that I’m happy with my decision to move here. Also so close to downtown restaurants, bars, target, the train and more. Very satisfied
