Moved to Brainerd Place in November and it has been such a pleasure! Management is understanding and evidently cares about their tenants. Maintenance is prompt and requests are completed quickly! Liz, Joann, and Demi have been amazing and tremendously helpful. Can’t wait to see what’s to come and would recommend to anyone looking for your next home!

I’m typing this review at 2:30am. It is snowing and the management here doesn’t pay for a proper snow removal contractor with trucks. There’s one maintenance guy in a small snow cat that is out there for HOURS each snowfall, making it impossible to sleep. One guy. It’s seriously so loud all night. Why don’t they just hire a company with trucks and have it done quickly so residents can sleep? You have to pay for a parking spot here and I’m afraid of not having a spot when the businesses finally... open. Management here is cheap. They don’t want to spend money on things (like snow removal). The pool is a joke it’s so small and never opened this summer as promised. They keep telling us all the great businesses that are coming. But the buildings aren’t even built or finished yet. I won’t be renewing my lease.

Regarding the snowstorm, the area received over 12 inches of snow that night, and our team and contractors worked... continuously to clear walkways, entrances, and parking areas as quickly and safely as possible. With storms of that size, removal is done in phases to maintain safe access while the snowfall is still ongoing.
We’re always working to keep the community clean, safe, and well-maintained, and that effort depends on both our team and resident cooperation. We address concerns as they’re reported or observed so they can be handled fairly and effectively.

Two months in at Brainerd Place. I could not be happier. The staff is fabulous. The location and units are lovely. When small adjustments are needed, maintenance resolves so fast. The fellow residents have been a pleasure. So happy I chose to live here.

I’ve seen every new apartment in CT. I made the decision to move to this complex. I worried when I saw the reviews. I read them but saw comments about amenities and future plans. Phew!! The place is awesome. Liz, the property manager was kind and patient with all my questions. She made it easy! I know it’s an average but the stars should be *****

I chose this new apartment complex over anything even in Glastonbury, CT (where I've lived forever) because of it's quality build, modern interiors, and really nice people/community already. Plus the view of the sunset over Middletown every night is such a perk I didn't expect. This area is definitely going to get even better with the second building, amenities (pool/new gym), and the shops/businesses we're hearing about coming in to the town. If you're a fan of Starbucks, you can walk there in... less than 3 mins too. Perfect for fam/friend visitors and a short drive to Middletown for eating at great restaurants.
