I've lived here for the past three years, and overall I've had a really positive experience. For the price, I honestly don't think you can beat the value. The apartments are actually spacious, and with the grass and walking paths it feels much less crowded than other apartment complexes.
Parking is easy, there is a pool that's clean and well maintained, and the community is generally very quiet and cozy. The leasing staff has always been friendly and helpful, and whenever I've needed... maintenance they've responded quickly and resolved the issue.
The only real downside is that the apartments don't have in-unit laundry. That would definitely be a nice upgrade, but considering the price point it's a trade-off that's easy to make. The laundry rooms are clean, easy to use, and I've never found them to be a major inconvenience.
Are there newer or more luxurious apartments nearby? Yes. But they'll also cost significantly more. If you're looking for a comfortable, well-maintained apartment with a good amount of space at a reasonable price, Kimberly Woods is hard to beat.

Not the same any more.
I use to love the property and management but it not the same any more. I am a little tired of being yelled at by the assistant manager for asking a questions related to my apartment. I know a couple other residents who have expressed that same bulling experience. No one should have to endure office staff flying off the handle at them when they ask a question. For the past 6 1/2 weeks they have been doing major construction/ renovation on the unit above. No one notified me a head of time nor did... they give me a time table so i could make arrangements to be elsewhere. I have heard the sounds if sawing, hammering, etc for over over 6 weeks. Management did nothing help with the major ongoing noise and distuption of peaceful enjoyment of my own unit that I have experienced caused by management. Its been a nightmare! This seems to be the way they do business, with no regard to current residents.

DO NOT Rent from Kimberly Woods
They are super shady. They charged us to change the carpet after we moved out, even though they claimed that's what the pet deposit was for. There is asbestos in the ceilings, and they do not handle it properly. We had a leak, and they sent the regular maintenance people, not asbestos professionals, to fix it.

The Best!!
Kimberly Woods Apartments are awesome. One of the best features are the fun pool parties every year. It is family friendly and they give out gift cards!! The maintenance crew are prompt with fixings. Love these apartments!!!
