This was a great community under the old owners. Once BRC took over this property everything went downhill quick. They "remodeled" the apartments with a few upgrades and raised the rent to market valve. These apartments are not even worth market value because they are old and have no central heating and air. They moved in a bunch of kids that seem to have nothing to do but cause trouble. On multiple occasions there would be parties past quiet hours, rock bands playing loud at night, people... fighting outside, etc. What does management do? Nothing, they are not on site to enforce "their rules" and will give you attitude for everything. What is the point of paying a staff person if they are not on site for resident needs? Also, if you have any issues in your unit don't expect them to get resolved in a timely manner. There was a leak in the bathroom from an upper unit and when I called the "emergency maintenance" line they didn't think it was an emergency, so my bathroom floor ended up flooded from the water leaking. On top of all this after moving into a "remodeled" unit on the top floor we were greeted with bed bugs, which I have never seen living in this complex for over 2 years. They sprayed multiple times but they kept coming back. Not only was this process stressful but I ended up getting rid of all my brand new furniture. Also, after the billion dollar hail storm we had last May, the ceiling in the bedroom started leaking and got stained. What did BRC do? Absolutely nothing, left the stain and didn't bother checking the damage on the roof. Good luck when the next hail storm comes. Other issues, vandalizm on my door from immature kids living there, trash never picked up and overflowing, dogs pooping everywhere and no one picking up after them, aggressive dogs on site that will growl and try to attack you, no one plows the snow or de ices the slippery stairs in a timely manner (my neighbor slipped and hurt herself and of course BRC did nothing), over priced laundry, washer barely washes and dryer barely dries and most of the time they are broken because people mess with them. People smoke weed in front of the building, I get it it's legal but don't be disrespectful and do it in front of people's windows. The list of issues could go on, but seriously beware! Everything is a joke here DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! Rent is expensive in the Denver area, but no one deserves to be treated like trash from a management company.
