Living in this apartment complex has been extremely frustrating and stressful.

The most alarming issue was when our car was broken into inside the gated parking garage, a space that is supposed to be secure and limited to residents only. This made me feel unsafe in what should be our own protected community.

We have also been dealing with a serious flies problem in our bathroom since May 2025. Even now, in January 2026, the issue continues. The lack of urgency and commitment has been very... disappointing, especially considering how unsanitary this situation is.

Another major issue was water leaking through the balcony door, flooding part of our living room and soaking the carpet. What makes this worse is that we had already warned maintenance about a gap in the door months earlier and were told it was not a problem. The damage could have been prevented if our concerns had been taken seriously.

On top of everything, we are now worried about our tap water quality. There are times when small black particles come out of the faucet, which is very concerning from a health perspective. We mentioned this when a plumber was here, but we never received a clear answer or any follow-up.

We have been living here since March 2025 and waited a long time before leaving a review, hoping these issues would be resolved. However, at this point, it feels necessary to share our experience. We pay a very premium price for this home, yet we are not receiving the level of quality, service, or care that should come with it.

I lived at this property for over a year. While the first year was fine under the original management team, everything declined after a leadership change. Communication became inconsistent, follow-through on issues was nonexistent, and tenant concerns were routinely brushed aside.

In April, the restaurant directly beneath my apartment hosted a large barbecue event. Even with all of my windows closed, smoke poured into my unit. Because every window faced the restaurant, there was no way to... ventilate or escape the fumes. The air quality was awful, and the smoke odor lingered for weeks—my furniture still smells like it. I called the emergency line and was told there was “nothing they could do” until the office opened the next day. Management later acknowledged the issue and promised a full cleaning, but they never followed through.

A month later, when I moved out, I requested a walkthrough. The maintenance person who conducted the inspection said nothing about any damages or excessive cleaning needs. I left the unit in pristine condition. Despite this, I was later charged for cleaning and damages, with no explanation. It was clear these charges were fabricated after the fact in an attempt to withhold part of my deposit. Any cleaning required would have been due to the smoke incident—something entirely out of my control. And standard turnover cleaning between tenants is the landlord’s responsibility, not a cost to be pushed onto the tenant.

On top of that, after years of loud construction, the property raised my rent by 18%. There is no guest parking, and the valet for the restaurant frequently blocks access to the garage, making it difficult to get in or out.

While management is friendly and attentive when you’re signing the lease, that changes the moment you decide to leave. They become unresponsive, dismissive, and, in my experience, dishonest.
