Do not rent here. This complex is owned by a group of doctors that treat the tenants like replaceable garbage. It says they are energy efficient homes and they are far from energy efficient. I guess they effectively run your bills up then that is correct. They refuse to take the rent before the 6th of the month so they can charge enormous fees and won't tell the tenants about the compounding fees until they are over $1000. I have found fees as far back as 2022 that I wasn't aware of, and I... moved in 7/2021. It says that garbage is a covered utility on rental agreement, but that's not true they do charge for garbage. They will tell you one amount to get you into the unit then systematically raise the rent to above market rate, and the homes are total dumps. There is a rat, mouse, and insect issues that they charge the tenants for if they complain and help is requested. Yes RATS very big nasty looking rats. I came home to find a dead mouse stuck under my garage door tat goes into my home. I threw it outside where it stayed for 5 days. They had a wonderful manager that they made do things that he wasn't okay with and he left. Area is unsafe with domestic violence disturbances, residents who speed and do burnouts in the parking lot, abandoned cars. In the unit itself the stairs are steep and the bathroom lights turn off when you are in the middle of a shower, both are unsafe for the very young and the very old. There is an issue with bugs and rodents, animals without IDs roaming around and jumping up on people and scratching people. There is no security monitoring premises so homeless and possible drug users on... premises. There are young children not being monitored on the playground and have destroyed parts of it like an umbrella and they have been seen throwing big rocks at cars, in the street, in the park. Lived here for a month so far so good. We recently have had a lot of fires nearby and the smoke has been unbearable. My kitchen is brand new my ice maker wasn't working but management was quick to fix it.

I was a resident of walkham before the remodeling. They fixed the appearance, but didn't fix any of the leaking roofs or rotted siding!! The walls are FULL of black mold!! That explains why my family was always getting sick!! I can't believe that they doubled the rents but left the real problems unfixed!! Don't be fooled by pretty appliances...the place is a toxic disaster!!
