I've been living in this building for a few years now, and it's been awesome. Management and maintenance are great, and they always handle things promptly. All of my neighbors are friendly. The on-site laundry and bike storage are super convenient. The location is quite perfect, with transit nearby, a grocery store just down the block, and essentially everything you need within a short walk or bike ride, including the beach. The building is old but well-maintained and charming. I genuinely doubt... you can beat this.

Terribly hot
Climate change combined with the stingy landlord is making this building inhospitable. Be prepared for no AC and rising summer temps in LA.

Great landlords, Very loud location
Businesses right outside bedroom windows are very loud. Every day you will be woken up by a series of car horns, trucks with the reverse beeping, or other loud noises coming from them. Would say here for years if I could sleep
