It's a one bedroom in a six unit building, and they're all one bedrooms. There's a nice spacious kitchen, a lot of light, and it's in a lovely neighborhood by the park and by the beach. It also has covered parking.
The down side of the design is that the plaster comes off the walls pretty easily. One only has to lean against it and some plaster will flake off, revealing bolts.
The management is hard to deal with, because if there is a complaint, the landlady gets very defensive and then takes... a long time to address the issue, or doesn't get to it. Basically things don't get taken care of promptly unless all requests are put in writing. Also, when I asked her for permission (in writing) to have a roommate, she took 14 days (the longest legal length of time) to tell me no.
Another issue is that she uses a contractor who has a temper, and also can't handle any criticism.
Most of the other tenants are pretty friendly, I've only had trouble with one.
