I lived in Willow Glen for a year. My experience here was good. The manager/landlord was super friendly and really showed that she cared for her residents. The appliances are updated and the apartment was in good conditions. If you have a creative mind you can definitely make it your own space. My concern was not having a parking spot but I was able to quickly get one since I was communicating with the landlord for availability, just try to get one on the front side not the back. The street... parking is not bad either and never had a bad experience leaving my car out there. I gave it 4 stars because it can get a bit noise at night if you live by the 7eleven side but you eventually get used to it. By far, the WORST apartment complex I've ever lived in. Trilar in general is trash. They set all these guidelines, but don't enforce when residents don't abide by the rules. The manager is so unorganized and very unprofessional. Apartment had a carpet beetle infestation, mind you there is no carpet. The buildings are just old, I told manager about infestation, she sent Terminix once or twice, but the problem was NEVER solved. When you request maintenance, they do a POOR job at fixing the issue.... I wouldn't recommend these apartments to anyone, don't waste your time. This Property Is so Great. Me, My parents and little brother was living here, and didnt had no problems and got free Internet Services, no one was arguing. This property was just perfect and thinkin about movin back to live here once more and again.

I lived at Willow Glen for 2 years during grad school at SDSU and LOVED it! I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of the apartment, mangers, staff, etc. My one bdrm was the perfect size and affordable pricing and I loved the color accent wall. If I ever had a maintenance request they fixed it right away. Parking is right in front and always available. I felt super safe here and the other tenants were always chill and nice. I got lucky and lived on the upper floor in the far left... building that is more open and could see the sunset everyday! Arthur and Joanna the owners are seriously so kind and helpful, whenever I needed any help they would always work with me. Ever since I moved in, they have always been doing things to make the property better, like landscaping (I love the succulents and palm trees they planted) and they installed a mail box locker so you never miss a package. I took a chance on this place because it was newly renovated and management appeared like they were really working on the property. Totally wrong. Since day one I have had nothing but issues. Access doors don't work so anyone can come in, parking is awful, the washer and dryers are always dirty or out of order, the grass up front in disgusting and smells. The management doesn't care and lies about every little thing. Homeless people dig through trash regularly and thugs hang out back by parking... area which really sucks when you have to walk down the alley to get inside. Read More
