The apartment has mold. They give you a disclaimer for you to sign off on when you sign your lease. However, no matter how clean your apartment is, you have to keep fighting the mold. The rugs have not been changed since we moved in, in 2008. From what we were told, the rugs were just cleaned, thats it. We spent alot of money doing things that should be handled by management. For $780.00 per month, management should be able to handle this. Also, basics such as changing the air filters you... have to do on your own. It will cost me about $275.00. I asked the property manager and she said that they don't take care of that. Really? Also, if you have a problem, its not like you can escalate it and speak with the owner. That is a "no no." On the upside, it is a gated community, a lot of older people and children are present. Management has done a good job of keeping out all of the riff raff and is visible. The property manager keeps regular office hours Monday thru Friday and she is approachable.
