Adrianna was horrible to move in very rude and felt highly of herself and was just bitter all around . Lisa was more tolerable so I had began to only communicate with Lisa I had more patience with her since I noticed she respected me as a resident. Adrianna gave no damns treated us like dirt !!
We had a renovated unit so no infestations . Only issue my family had was the banging of the gate all day and night . It’s supposed to be a gated community but gate was always broken and stayed open .... Community was clean majority of the times and maintenance was good . Laundry was a hassle had to fight over 1 washer and dryer because the other 3 worked out every other few months . Always cop cars in and out of community always something going on . Overall I liked that it was close to main necessities. People in area was alright . I hated living infront of dog play area always poops and smeared poop by #5 so nasty! grill rarely worked . Overall 3/5 since community was mostly quiet and Lisa made everything worthwhile living there.

We are going to miss this place
My wife and I had our first apartment here. Caroline was our manager the whole time and we are truly sad to have to leave. If we could stay we would. We love Caroline and our apartment. The community is clean and well maintained. Maintenance is always friendly and helpful. We actually had two different apartments here during our time and neither one had any pest problems. We are truly going to miss it. And Jonsie (our puppy) is going to miss Caroline and her treats too. Honestly, I’ve lived in... so many places in my life. If you need a quiet and comfortable clean and affordable apartment in Romona or close to San Diego, this is a GREAT spot. Don’t pay attention to the negative reviews. My wife and I read them and don’t agree they have any valid basis since Caroline has really turned the property around. If you have cockroaches in bed with you, they are obviously in your apartment because they found something they want to have more of (food). Clean up after yourselves haha. We didn’t have any roaches or other pests at all in either apartment. None.

Do not move here
Number one is the roach problem which according to other reviews has been an issue for over a decade. The new manager seemed to be helpful but every time I say I saw another one or even worse, I’ve been seeing baby cockroaches, she has some excuse. They have used gel twice now and it hasn’t worked and she says she can’t get anyone to spray until spring?? Meanwhile I’m waking up to a baby roach on my breakfast and an adult in my bed. Number two are the obnoxious neighbors. Everyone talks... extremely loud with their doors wide open, it’s like no one has any concept of respect or decency. The windows are built extremely poorly and shake and rattle every time someone walks upstairs. And you can hear everything through them. Screaming kids play and run around in the parking lot with no supervision. Stray cats roam around everywhere. This is honestly such a terrible place to live. Management does not really care about anything but their image.

Would not recommend
My boyfriend and I were extremely excited to have our own place and thought these apartments would be perfect. We only lived in these apartments for 5 months but that was enough for us. These apartments do have roaches and no matter how hard we tried to get rid of them, they always came back. Gail wouldn't even give us the gate code because "too many people already have the code." We lived here and we couldn't have the gate code? After we moved out we expected to get a majority of our $500... deposit back but we didn't of course. They charged us $120 For cleaning the apartment even though we spent hours and hours cleaning that apartment from top to bottom. They also charged us $120 for touch up paint in the whole unit and in the cabinets even though they only had to paint a few spots where we had patched up holes in the walls from hanging pictures. The cabinets were in the same exact condition they were in when we moved in so we shouldn't have of been charged for that at all. If you have more than one car good luck finding a spot! Every night there were cars there that should not have been there. Overall we would NEVER recommend these apartments to anyone, if you're looking for a nice place to live I would keep looking!

Valle Del Sol Apartments
These apartments are a good value for the area. They are a bit old and in need of some remodeling, but the size of the apartments is great. They are pet firiendly too which is a plus. There's not a lot of places to hang out, there's a pool area and a BBQ area, but other than that it's just the parking lot. I will say though that it is very convenient to everything in town.
