Tldr: I can't sign the lease until I get it fixed by someone who won't answer the phone for the past week. Do not expect to catch the property manager in the office, on the phone, or even through email. The 1 day they are in the office, they still won't be there. So if you have any questions or need to schedule a day to pick anything up they'll contact you first if you're lucky. There are 3 numbers to call, the two on the website are disconnected (1 on website 1 on application), the only one... I've found that works is the phone number they call you on. However, I had to call the agency to get in touch with corporate because at least they answered (even though one of the numbers on that website was also disconnected).

Terrible
Terrible!!! I just moved in a month ago and wish I never had! Within a week of moving in I found ticks all throughout my apartment. I had to find a something natural to get rid of then due to the fact that I have grandchildren that come over. Got rid of the ones in the house but what a hassle. I'm still finding them on the balcony so I have to be careful about even going out there. To top it off today my daughter came over to visit and I parked outside my garage to move some boxes so that I... could park my daughters car in it. I walked in my apartment to grab something and came back out and her car was gone. I have been a property manager for over 20 years and this means that the tow company had them do what they call a sweep so they get kick backs from having the residents towed! Never did this to my residents. Totally unethical!!! $370.00 to get her car out of impound all because she came to visit me. I wish I never moved here and now I have no choice but to stay until my lease is up!

Fair Warning
I lived here for four years. When I first moved in it was great. It was a tight knit community with people that lived here long term...up to 20yrs! Neighbors would get together for BBQ's at the pool, we all watched out for each other. Then Elan purchased the property and it went downhill FAST!! Most long term tenants have moved because Elan keeps upping everyone's rent...and not the typical $25-50.00....my last increase was $300.00!! There are zero upgrades to the apartments. When I moved in... the carpets were stained and worn in areas. I was told it was a year old that two tenants both had six month leases lived on it before me. I am in the flooring business...I know that is not true. The vinyl had holes in it but they did change out the dining/kitchen area, only after I threatened to not move in if it was not fixed. The walls keep splitting and cracking. The maintenance guy has been in my apartment probably seven times to fix the walls. I can hear the man above me snoring....that is how thin the insulation is, if there is any. The outside is horrible. The stucco is falling apart. The gardeners don't clean up their piles of grass and needles from the trees. Tree branches are sitting on the roof and on people's balcony. They have not once trimmed the trees and only cleaned the gutters once in the 4yrs I was there. The property had become a revolving door since Elan took over. We have had a prostitution ring, several apartments dealing drugs, LOTS of domestic violence, and squatters because apartments stay empty for 3-4 months after people vacate. The washers and dryers are ALWAYS broken or they take your money. For two years we have been told new washer and dryers were coming....still waiting. The gym...if that's what you want to call it is a joke. The pool is disgusting and hardly cleaned. And when the guy does clean it its at midnight. People who should be evicted are still there yet good people who pay their rent and are quiet seem to be picked on. I have seen SEVEN managers in four years. As you can see by office hours no manager is ever around to take care of any issues. The files are a mess. That is why no one ever gets their deposit back. This place is literally a joke. Do NOT rent from an Elan property. I ended up buying a home because my mortgage is less than the rent here for a one bedroom. Good luck if you decide to rent here....but don't say you have not been warned.
