Elevators always broken. Homeless and squatters everywhere in the building. Uncontrolled roach problem. Extremely noisy. Always lose money or changing banking systems so ledger is outdated. Avoid by all means necessary.

Charges galor!
I’ve lived here for a while, and while the elevators seem to be working more often lately, management really needs to get their billing together. We weren’t charged for electricity for four months, and I later found out they had removed some residents from the billing roster while processing leases—no clear explanation why. Then suddenly, all those charges were dumped on us at once. On top of that, you can’t pay directly with a bank account without being hit with a $3.95 fee, essentially forcing... you to use a credit card. Yes, you can pay with a cashier’s check—but that costs around $8.00, which is ridiculous. For the amount they charge, the property is not well maintained at all. The floors look terrible. Honestly, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Going Down Hill
I’ve lived here for about five years, and it’s been challenging to say the least. We’re not asking for perfection — just accountability. The repeated late fees on exempt charges like third-party services and parking, along with promises to remove them that go unfulfilled, are more than frustrating — they’re demoralizing.
As someone who pays on time, I’ve never seen it this bad. It feels less like property management and more like daily harassment. I hope leadership chooses to listen, take... responsibility, and do better for those of us who still call this place home.

Wow! What an improvement!
I am a longtime resident and this building has presented a complete 360! They are throwing resident events each month, they remodeled the lobby a month ago and it’s beautiful! Walked in from work today and was so happy to see a beautifully decorated Christmas tree!
I have lived here for 6 years and have never seen this happen. Thanks Danielle!

It’s getting better
I have lived here for 6 years. I have been through the rough of it. I will say that in the past 8 months it has gotten a lot better. Avenue5 is making a lot of progress. I met the new Manager, Danielle a week ago and she was able to have my A/C fixed same day during this heat wave. That would have never happened with prior management. I just want to say THANK YOU!
