How Is This Rating Determined?

Quiet building but horrible parking

Pros:
Neighbors keep to themselves so it's pretty quiet.
The property managers are responsive to repair requests
The place is rent controlled which is nice.

Con:
Walls are plaster,makes it very difficult to find a wall stud to anchor large furniture (in case of earthquake)
No AC
There are security risks that I will not go into detail with on a public forum but if you look at the apartment you will see it.

Biggest Con:
The parking situation. The property managers created parking spaces...
in the back along the back wall where there shouldn't be any cars provide two units with parking spots. This makes it incredibly difficult to pull in and out of the parking spaces perpendicular to these two spaces without damaging your car or your neighbors car. As a result neighbors don't always park straight in their spaces.
Add to that, the street parking is always full on the specific and surrounding streets.
