I showed up for my self guided tour, was not sent the codes to get into the building and nobody picked up when I called the numbers on the building or on the email I was sent.
Residents who lived in the building, let me know that the apartments inside looked visually nice, but are roach infested. There was also an issue of MULTIPLE cars being stolen from the "secure parking garage".
I was able to gain access to the building and attempted to see the unit just to see what it was like, and the... current resident WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF MOVING OUT. They were unaware of the tour and still occupied the unit!
There was also no management on site that I could find, and there is no lobby to speak of. The entrance is just a mailroom with an elevator that goes directly to each floor. While the building has a locked front door, it didn't feel safe or secure.
I cannot comment on the units themselves, as I COULD NOT SEE the unit. After my "tour time" ended, I revived an automated text saying (Quoted from the actual text), "If you could NOT get into the unit for some reason, please let us know ASAP so we can rectify the issue." So obviously they have had issues with this before and have done NOTHING on their end to prevent this situation.
I am beyond horrified that I almost walked into a person's apartment and personal space, even if they were moving out. They have the right to feel safe in their apartment and a lack of proper management has violated that for the unit inhabitants.
