I had a deeply frustrating experience with this rental. I submitted my application weeks in advance and followed up multiple times via email and text, but received little to no response. Just two days before my planned move, I called—only to find out they hadn’t even begun reviewing my application.
They gave multiple excuses, including being sick and having personal issues, which delayed the process. Then they claimed they couldn’t reach my current apartment complex for verification—a... well-established, responsive management company I’ve had no issues contacting during the three years I’ve lived there.
On top of that, they kept asking for more than just an emergency contact—they wanted the names and numbers of multiple people they could call and ask about me personally. Which I did provide. This was excessive, invasive, and completely inappropriate for a standard rental application.
If they weren’t going to rent to me, they should have been honest from the start. Instead, they wasted my time, left me without a place two days before moving, and created unnecessary stress. I avoided applying elsewhere to limit credit checks, which left me at a disadvantage because of their lack of professionalism.
I would absolutely not recommend this property or management to anyone. The process was disorganized, unprofessional, and showed a complete disregard for applicants' time and planning.
