I have lived here for four months now, moving here from the East Coast so I was not able to view the apartment building in person. My tour was over Facetime where it was not mentioned to me that the courtyard/pool area was closed. Of course they advertise beautiful photos & videos of this amenity and it was the SOLE reason I chose to live here after countless hours of researching apartment communities in Long beach.
I continue to ask the manager when they plan to open this area asking for... detailed reasons (like a specific regulation in LA county needs to be lifted or a certain number of positive COVID cases) but he doesn't have an explanation. Recently said the owners will "possibly" open the courtyard area in the summer.
Just want to make sure prospective renters have the full scope before they choose to live here! We haven't received a reduction in rent or any courtesy letter from management/owners. I am happy with the location, but the price isn't worth it without the pool area.
