Homeless people are constantly found all around the apartment. There used to be a homeless person that would sneak into an empty apartment a couple doors down from mine and stay the night, and leave early the next morning. I've also found them sleeping in the gym, and the mailroom. The garage door never works, and cars have gone missing from the complex.
This is very close to the BART station - meaning, it's a prime target for thieves to ride in, steal stuff (including cars) and disappear... .
People let their pets relieve themselves in the elevator and management seems helpless to do anything about it.
There is no "valet trash" even though it's advertised. Their idea of valet trash is you having to lug your trash to the trash room which can sometimes be quite a ways from your unit.
This place is not worth the money.

Do not move here
The staff here is very unprofessional and argumentative. They do not call you back and are barely in office. You have to hound them for responses. The building always has broken doors/broken garage door allowing access to homeless and non residents to come and break into our cars and steal packages. The apartments themselves are poorly built especially the flooring your floor will become uneven very easily with minimal water exposure. The building tries to charge you for everything ! Amenities... will not be available and they do not care or have any empathy for residents receiving what they pay for. Hot water is always turned off for some “maintenance” and maintenance itself is a joke. Honestly spend your hard owned money somewhere else where it is not a money greedy property and somewhere that cares about their residents.

Unannounced Staff Entry and Invasion of Privacy
Unfortunately, my experience living in this condo has been very uncomfortable. Apartment staff repeatedly enter the unit without prior notice, often for unclear or unjustified reasons. As a resident, you have to be prepared to find someone inside your apartment at any time, regardless of your personal circumstances. During these unannounced entries, staff touch and move personal belongings, which feels invasive and disrespectful. This ongoing lack of privacy and basic tenant consideration is... very concerning.

Worse apartment building/management
I don’t even know where to start. I would give ZERO stars if I could. Don’t even bother touring this place. 1. You pay for parking per car (which is fine), but the parking garage has never worked during the whole duration of my lease. Meaning people who don’t pay can park, homeless people come in, cars get broken into, and tires get slashed (personal experience). There is no urgency from management to fix it or reimburse parking for residents. They put up all these signs and decorations in the... garage but doesn’t put money where it’s actually worth. 2. The apartment claims to be pet friendly, but it’s not. Just because there’s a pet spa, which never has towels that are supposed to be there and is dirty, doesn’t mean it’s pet friendly. There are 0 trash cans around the building. The nearest trash is across the street at Bart. There’s no area where dogs can be off leash. 3. It is not safe. There has been multiple times where homeless people have trespassed and made residents feel uncomfortable but all management says is to call the police. They REFUSE to get on site security, which was once advertised. I’ve heard stories and have personal experience of being harassed by these trespassers and management doesn’t care about the safety of their residents. 4. Nothing is ever fixed/working all at the same time. There is always something broken and maintenance takes forever to address it. The lobby door or garage door or elevator. You name it, it’s probably been broken. It is extremely unsafe living in that building. 5. The quality of the unit structure is so poor. I would bump into the corner with a plastic laundry bin, and the paint/drywall would CRUMBLE. Mold grows so easily as well.
There are so many other things wrong with this building. There was not one day that went by that I felt confident that I made the right decision living there. You’d think for the price they charge, they’d make it nice and comfortable for their residents. Do not waste your money here.
